Dr Eun Hwang
The dentist whose work will never retire.
Dr Eun loves knowing that long after he retires, the work he has done will keep his patients healthy and smiling.
Completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide wasn’t enough for our Principal Dentist and Director. He is currently in the process of obtaining a Master of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from the prestigious King’s College London, UK.
His fascination with human biology has led to him working extensively around the world in private practices, as well as a Senior Dental Officer at Raffles Hospital, Singapore. He specialises in Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Management of Worn Teeth, Implant Dentistry, Wisdom Tooth Removal and Cosmetic Dentistry including Invisalign.
Dr Joanna Tan
The well meaning and well being dentist.

Her experience is as varied as her talents. She has worked at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, and is also incredibly proud to be an Honorary Fellow at Westmead Children’s Hospital. Maybe Dr Pearl has gone so far in life because she believes that you should “treat others as you’d like to be treated.” We feel fortunate to have her at Boon Dental.
When she’s not at work, Dr Pearl is probably happily playing with her Samoyed puppy.

Lisa Kim, Dental Assistant
A dental laboratory changed Lisa’s life.
A visit to a dental laboratory several years ago was all the inspiration our lovely Dental Assistant Lisa needed to realise that she wanted to help people. She saw the skill, effort and time that goes into dentistry, and so studied Dental Technology at TAFE, which provided her with the fundamentals of the job.
Lisa says the most rewarding aspect of her job is helping patients get out of pain, and educating them on the importance of a healthy and consistent dental routine. Seeing a patient leave with a smile on their face is why she keeps doing what she does, and only wants to get even better at doing it. In fact, she loves it so much that she says she can’t imagine working in any other industry. Her personal ethos being “if you want it, you have to earn it”, and she certainly lives by this.
Dana Balosache, Receptionist and Dental Assistant
A sense of humour and duty.
Dana makes people smile with her support and help and a whimsical sense of humour. Our patients in our Wentworth Point clinic know her to be both thoughtful and dedicated.
Her desire to help people is clear in both the work she does as a Dental Assistant and as a Receptionist. Dana is one of the few people who could take on two roles and do them both unbelievably well. Maybe it’s all the board games she plays in her spare time that makes her so capable.
Brianna Bosward, Receptionist
Brianna was born to be our superstar receptionist.
We literally could not live without her at our Ropes Crossing practice. She somehow manages to remember all our patient’s names, and often even their dog’s names!
Brianna is empathetic and understands that their are other places that you’d rather be than at the dentist. That’s why she keeps the mood upbeat and always has a smile. Her life motto is “your life is your message to the world, make sure it’s inspiring”. She gets her inspiration from as many fishing trips as she can go on and spending time with her dog.
