Dr Eun Hwang
The dentist whose work will never retire.
Dr Eun loves knowing that long after he retires, the work he has done will keep his patients healthy and smiling.
Completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide wasn’t enough for our Principal Dentist and Director. He is currently in the process of obtaining a Master of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from the prestigious King’s College London, UK.
His fascination with human biology has led to him working extensively around the world in private practices, as well as a Senior Dental Officer at Raffles Hospital, Singapore. He specialises in Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Management of Worn Teeth, Implant Dentistry, Wisdom Tooth Removal and Cosmetic Dentistry including Invisalign.
Dr Joanna Tan
The well meaning and well being dentist.

She has worked in both the public and private sectors in South Australia, including tutoring at the University of Adelaide dental school and volunteering with the RFDS, before making the move to Sydney.
Her special interests lie in diagnosing and managing orofacial pain, root canal treatment and aesthetic dentistry. She is an absolute asset to Boon Dental.
Dr Saerom Park
The dentist who believes prevention is the best medicine.
After obtaining a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Science) at King’s College London, UK, and MJDF (Membership of Joint Dental Faculties), UK, Dr Saerom has worked all over the world including London, Singapore and Sydney, to gain as much experience and insight into dentistry. Whilst working at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, she developed a special interest in treating children. Dr Saerom strongly believes that prevention is the key to long term oral health and is committed to provide oral health educations for all her patients .
On her day off, she enjoys practicing yoga and Pilates. Maybe that’s why she is always smiling.

Dr Pearl Sirichai
The smile maker
Dr Pearl has a love of all things creative, and finds creating smiles the ultimate expression of her creativity. She studied Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide and has a MBChB.
Her experience is as varied as her talents. She has worked at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, and is also incredibly proud to be an Honorary Fellow at Westmead Children’s Hospital. Maybe Dr Pearl has gone so far in life because she believes that you should “treat others as you’d like to be treated.” We feel fortunate to have her at Boon Dental.
When she’s not at work, Dr Pearl is probably happily playing with her Samoyed puppy.

Dr Yong Gi was previously a high school teacher in New Zealand and is well known for his gentle, polite, and caring manner, which is particularly helpful when providing treatments to children – something he is especially suited to with his teaching background. His patients say that Dr Yong Gi is very honest and is a dentist you can trust.
Dr Yong Gi enjoys hiking, volunteering, and learning Mandarin. He is fluent in English and Korean.
Dr Ryan Leung studied overseas at the University of British Columbia, graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences and Master of Management before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Western Australia. He is interested in continuing to make a positive difference in the community through oral health.
Ryan enjoys helping patients learn more about their oral health and educating them about their treatment. He wants to make patients feel comfortable, hear their concerns and provide the best oral care that suits their individual needs. Dr Ryan continues to study the latest research to provide patients with the highest standard of treatment.
During his free time, Ryan stays active in the gym and plays a variety of sports including netball and volleyball. You might bump into him as he enjoys exploring new cafes and restaurants.

She is thorough, yet gentle with her treatments and always prioritises the comfort of her patients. Nini places great focus on educating her patients on the prevention of oral disease as she understands how intimately the health of the mouth is connected to the health of the body. Away from work, Nini loves finding new places and activities to spend time with her friends and family .
Lisa Kim, Dental Assistant
A dental laboratory changed Lisa’s life.
A visit to a dental laboratory several years ago was all the inspiration our lovely Dental Assistant Lisa needed to realise that she wanted to help people. She saw the skill, effort and time that goes into dentistry, and so studied Dental Technology at TAFE, which provided her with the fundamentals of the job.
Lisa says the most rewarding aspect of her job is helping patients get out of pain, and educating them on the importance of a healthy and consistent dental routine. Seeing a patient leave with a smile on their face is why she keeps doing what she does, and only wants to get even better at doing it. In fact, she loves it so much that she says she can’t imagine working in any other industry. Her personal ethos being “if you want it, you have to earn it”, and she certainly lives by this.
Dana Balosache, Receptionist and Dental Assistant
A sense of humour and duty.
Dana makes people smile with her support and help and a whimsical sense of humour. Our patients in our Wentworth Point clinic know her to be both thoughtful and dedicated.
Her desire to help people is clear in both the work she does as a Dental Assistant and as a Receptionist. Dana is one of the few people who could take on two roles and do them both unbelievably well. Maybe it’s all the board games she plays in her spare time that makes her so capable.
Brianna Bosward, Receptionist
Brianna was born to be our superstar receptionist.
We literally could not live without her at our Ropes Crossing practice. She somehow manages to remember all our patient’s names, and often even their dog’s names!
Brianna is empathetic and understands that their are other places that you’d rather be than at the dentist. That’s why she keeps the mood upbeat and always has a smile. Her life motto is “your life is your message to the world, make sure it’s inspiring”. She gets her inspiration from as many fishing trips as she can go on and spending time with her dog.
